The Story
Vaporesso GT Mesh Coils
Vaporesso GT mesh coils are sub-ohm mesh replacement coils for the legacy Vaporesso NRG and NRG SE sub-ohm tanks. Six variants cover six different wattage and flavour profiles, from the GT2 0.4 ohm at the cooler end through to the GT8 0.15 ohm cloud chaser at 110W. Mesh heating elements cover more wick surface than traditional wire wraps, which produces fuller flavour and denser vapour from the first puff to the last. Each three-pack of GT replacement coils uses a press-fit design for tool-free swaps.
GT is one of Vaporesso's older sub-ohm coil platforms - the NRG-series tanks it fits are no longer manufactured, but Ecigone keeps the GT mesh coil range available for vapers still running the original hardware. Pair these coils with 70VG or 80VG shortfill e-liquids for the best wicking at sub-ohm wattages.

Key Features
- Six GT Variants - GT2, GT4, GT4 Meshed, GT6, GT8 and GT Mesh covering 0.15 to 0.4 ohm
- Mesh Heating Element - full-surface heat distribution for richer flavour and longer life
- Wide Wattage Range - 30W to 110W depending on coil choice
- Press-Fit Install - push the coil straight into the NRG tank base, no threading
- NRG and NRG SE Fit - one coil platform across both tank sizes
- High-VG Tuned - 70VG or higher shortfills wick best at sub-ohm wattages
- 3 Coils Per Pack - keep spares on rotation between orders

The GT2 at 0.4 ohm is the most forgiving on e-liquid consumption and battery life, suiting 60/40 or 70/30 mixes at moderate wattage. The GT6 at 0.2 ohm is the all-rounder - it performs at lower wattages for restricted DTL pulls and ramps up cleanly to 100W when you want bigger clouds. GT8 at 0.15 ohm only really earns its place above 60W and is best paired with max-VG shortfills.
GT Coil Compatibility
Vaporesso GT mesh replacement coils fit all NRG-series sub-ohm tanks. Compatible tanks include the NRG sub-ohm tank, the NRG SE sub-ohm tank, and the smaller NRG Mini tank. These tanks shipped with the original Vaporesso Luxe sub-ohm kit (not the Luxe X pod kit), the Swag 2, Revenger, Polar and Cascade kits. The NRG SE tank uses the same coil socket as the full-size NRG, so one coil type covers your whole NRG collection.
Compatible Tanks
- Vaporesso NRG sub-ohm tank
- Vaporesso NRG SE sub-ohm tank
- Vaporesso NRG Mini sub-ohm tank
Not Compatible With
GT mesh coils do not fit any current Vaporesso pod kit or current sub-ohm tank. If your kit has integrated coils inside the pod, you are on the COREX platform. If your tank is engraved iTank, iTank T, GTR, SKRR or SKRR-S, you need a different coil family.
- iTank T / iTank 2 - use GTi coils instead
- Luxe X3, Armour G, Armour GS, GTX One Pro - use GTX coils instead
- GTR tank - use GTR coils instead
- SKRR or SKRR-S - use SKRR QF coils instead
Installing a New GT Coil
Drain the tank if you are changing coil styles or resistances, unscrew the tank base, and pull the old coil straight out. Press the new coil firmly into the base socket until it seats. Drop two or three drops of e-liquid onto each visible cotton port on the side of the coil, refill the tank, and stand it upright for five minutes so the wick fully soaks. Priming the cotton prevents dry hits on your first few puffs. Once the five minutes are up, start at the lower end of the printed wattage range and work upwards over a few draws.
