The Story
Vaporesso GTi Lattice Mesh Coils
Vaporesso GTi coils are sub-ohm lattice mesh replacement coils built for the iTank 2 and iTank T sub-ohm tanks. The GTi range covers six SKUs across two mesh builds - four standard lattice mesh resistances (0.15, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.5 ohm) and two dual mesh options (0.2 and 0.4 ohm). The lattice mesh weave is the key engineering choice on every GTi coil. Instead of a single flat strip, the wire is woven into a tighter cross-hatch grid, which spreads heat evenly across the cotton, slows down coil burnout, and keeps flavour clean from the first puff through to the last drop of e-liquid in the tank.
GTi is Vaporesso's iTank sub-ohm DTL and RDL platform - every coil in the range sits under 1 ohm and runs best with high-VG e-liquid, including 70/30 and max VG shortfills. If you have a Vaporesso Armour Ultra kit, Armour Ultra mod, or any other Vaporesso kit paired with an iTank 2 or iTank T, these are the correct replacement coils. The dual mesh variants (0.2 and 0.4 ohm) add a second mesh layer at the same resistance as their standard counterparts, which means richer vapour density without dropping ohms. Every resistance ships in a 5-pack for proper stock cover between orders.
Key Features
- Lattice Mesh Build - cross-hatch mesh weave for even heat spread, cleaner flavour and longer coil life
- Six Resistance Options - 0.15, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.5 ohm standard mesh plus 0.2 and 0.4 ohm dual mesh
- Standard or Dual Mesh - dual mesh adds a second heating layer for thicker vapour at the same resistance
- Sub-Ohm Focus - DTL and RDL vaping styles, not designed for MTL
- High-VG Tuned - works best with 70/30 and max VG shortfill e-liquids
- iTank 2 and iTank T Fit - press-fits into either Vaporesso sub-ohm tank
- Press-Fit Install - push in, no threading, no tools required
- 5-Pack - every resistance sold in fives for stock cover

GTi Coil Compatibility
Vaporesso GTi coils fit the iTank 2 and iTank T sub-ohm tanks. Any current Vaporesso mod kit that ships with one of those tanks - including the Armour Ultra kit and Armour Ultra mod - takes GTi coils. The GTi platform is sub-ohm only, so the resistance range tops out at 0.5 ohm, there is no MTL coil in the range, and no 0.3 ohm option either. If your Vaporesso kit came with an iTank 2 or iTank T screwed on the mod, you are on the GTi platform.

Compatible Tanks

- Vaporesso iTank T sub-ohm tank
GTi coils do not fit Vaporesso GTX pod kits like the Luxe X3, Armour G, Armour GS or GTX One Pro. Those use the GTX platform instead - see the Vaporesso GTX coils page for the GTX range.
GTi vs GTX Coils
GTi and GTX are two separate Vaporesso coil platforms and they are not cross-compatible. GTi coils use a lattice mesh build, sit between 0.15 ohm and 0.5 ohm, and only fit the iTank 2 and iTank T sub-ohm tanks - so they are tied to mod-and-tank kits like the Armour Ultra. GTX coils come in a much wider resistance spread (covering MTL options as high as 1.2 ohm right through to 0.15 ohm sub-ohm) and fit Vaporesso's pod kits including the Luxe X3, Armour G, Armour GS, Luxe XR Max 2 and GTX One Pro. The simple rule: match the coil platform to your tank or pod, not the kit name. If you are swapping between an iTank-style sub-ohm setup and a pod kit, you will need both GTi and GTX coils on hand.

The 0.15 ohm runs hottest and pushes the thickest clouds in the GTi range, but it also chews through e-liquid quickest, so pair it with max VG shortfills and a topped-up tank. The 0.2 ohm standard is the most popular everyday DTL choice - punchy flavour, plenty of vapour, and a longer lifespan than the 0.15 ohm at typical wattages. The 0.2 ohm dual mesh sits at the same wattage band as the standard 0.2 ohm but layers two mesh strips for richer vapour density. Pick it if you want extra cloud production without dropping resistance.

0.5 ohm |

The 0.4 ohm still gives decent vapour with a slightly tighter restricted draw than the DTL options, which makes it the best entry point if you are stepping up from a pod kit and don't want a full open-airflow chest hit. The 0.4 ohm dual mesh holds the same wattage range as the standard 0.4 ohm but produces noticeably more cloud thanks to the twin mesh layout. The 0.5 ohm is the coolest, lowest-wattage option in the GTi range and pairs neatly with restricted DTL pulls on 70/30 e-liquid - it is the most forgiving coil in the range and tends to last longest between swaps.

Installing a New GTi Coil
Vaporesso GTi coils use a press-fit design, so swapping coils on the iTank 2 or iTank T takes seconds and no tools. Empty the tank fully if you are changing coil styles or resistances, pull the old coil straight out of the base, and push the new GTi coil firmly into place until it seats with a positive click. Drop one or two drops of e-liquid onto each visible cotton port on the side of the coil, refill the tank, and screw it back onto your mod. Let the new coil stand upright for 5 to 10 minutes so the wick fully saturates - this step matters most on the 0.15 ohm and 0.2 ohm dual mesh, which run hotter and dry-hit faster if you rush the prime. Start at the lower end of the printed wattage range and step up gradually until the vape feels right.
